My name is Jason Lundberg I am the newly hired farm manager for Kids’ Food Basket Farm which is located within Grand Rapids city limits. Our philosophy is to nourish, grow, learn, and engage with chemical free sustainable farming. Our farm has produced limited fruits and vegetables over the past 3 years.

What are you growing?
In 2020 KFB Farm will produce over 40 different vegetables, fruits, and flowers.

Where can your food be found?
Our veggies and fruits will be used in our Sack Supper program to help nourish kids in our community. We are also developing other revenue streams.

What challenges are you facing?
Being that I’m new to the property the biggest challenges I face at the moment are getting our field in good working order. Such as irrigation needs and soil amendments. Farming has been a big part of my life and I always look forward to the change of the seasons and the return of the bluebirds.

We at KFB want our consumers to know that they can trust us with growing all natural healthy  products grown in harmony with nature.

Why are you a member of WMGG?
KFB is excited to grow, engage, and learn from our fellow members. I personally look forward to meeting all involved.

Favorite farm tool?
My favorite farm tool besides my brain and hands is my ecoweeder—it pays for itself every season over and over again.
