NEW CITY URBAN FARM

New City is a 3 acre farm located in the heart of Grand Rapids (1226 Union NE, Grand Rapids MI 49505). We sell our produce May-December through a variety of CSA share options. We believe CSA shares are the most affordable (and fun) way to purchase high quality local produce. We aim to provide our customers with a 25% discount on farmer's market prices. We also run a weekly pop-up cafe in July during our Thursday pickup. The cafe includes wood fired pizza, soups, salads and baked goods! We accept EBT for our CSA shares. What is your farm’s philosophy?

All of our food is grown in compost-enriched soil 100% naturally (no synthetic pesticides, fertilizers or GMOs).

What do you raise/grow?

Vegetables!

Where can we find your products?

On-Farm CSA pickup every Thursday from 12:00-6:30, May-December 15, as well as the Fulton Street Farmers Market on Saturdays.

What would you say are your biggest challenges, currently?

Our biggest challenge is managing weeds.

What are you looking forward to in the season/s to come?

Going to market for the first time! We have done exclusivlye on-farm sales until this year.

Passionate about serving our neighborhood, we value good community first; food is just how we get there.
